NEW ISO9001:2015 AND WHAT IS ITS IMPACT AND PREPAREDNESS FOR A CONSTRUCTION FIRM?

Master's Program Project Management in Construction (MPM) program has successfully organized the seminar “NEW ISO9001:2015 and what is its impact and preparedness for A Construction Firm?" in Can Tho city on 10 May 2014. This seminar was received interest from nearly 20 participants from different organizations in Can Tho and neighbor provinces

In the seminar, the concept of the new ISO 9001 overview with its main objectives were discussed. The revision process and the last update of new ISO 9001 during the Committee Draft (CD) were informed as well as the main context of changes upon compared with the current ISO version which is ISO 9001:2008. Finally, during explanation of the changes, some comments on their impacts for well preparedness for construction firms were also reported to the seminar participants accordingly.
